(BELIEFS)
As a proud Brutan of the Felands, son of the chief of his clan, a warrior since birth, he follows the many traditions of his people. His people serve no god and believes only in the survival of the fittest. The strongest survive, the strongest thrive, the strongest reign. Death is an eternal dreamless rest that only a great warrior can truly appreciate. Fear is the ultimate enemy and life is a quest to conquer it. Brutan have been taught that when we die, we pass into an eternal slumber that only the worthy truly deserve. But those who have battled their fear and won will find their eternal rest.
(PROFESSION)
Baerm is a skilled bounty hunter and giant slayer for hire. Seeking out criminals for a price, while also patrolling the wilds throughout the kingdom. Defending helpless towns and villages from occasional threats of giantfolk. His work is well known throughout the west as he has slain six fire giants, eight frost giants, thirty hill giants and over one hundred trolls and ogres over the past ten years single handed.
(TEMPERAMENT)
Baerm is an orc that fiercely respects the traditions of his people. He finds it hard to trust, but once you have earned his friendship, he will never stop fighting to defend you. He is fiercely protective of those select few people he cares about. Very serious in nature, he is extremely patient both when in combat or in the presence of idiots. Although the later seems to always piss him off.
(KNOWN MAGIC)
Enchanted Broad Sword - A family blade made of silvered steel, passed down from father to son for generations. Infused with a lesser earth elemental. The spirit within grants the blade eternal sharpness, allowing it to slash through most metals weaker then steel like honey.
Enchanted Wolf Furs - A gift from the Overnan king, as thanks for his mighty deeds of defending the realm from the plague of giant folk. Infused with a lesser fire elemental. Granting greater resistance to extreme heat. Offering decent protection from natural flames.
Ring of Wrath - Once his fathers, he took it off his fathers ruined corpse in remembrance of him. Made of elementum and with the felson family crest carved upon it. Enchanted with an infernal diaboli. Granting him temporarily enhanced physical strength, endurance, stamina and durability. Allowing him to trade blows with lesser giant folk and feel little to no pain. Though the spirit of the ring demands blood. Only when the blood of the wielder is offered to the ring will it grant its power for a short time.

(EQUIPMENT)
10 Inch Iron Dagger - An uncommonly long dagger strapped to his waist that he uses more like a tool then an actual weapon.
Padded Leather Armor - Specifically for hunting giantfolk, limited use as actual armor, but allows him to shrug off a few hits from most lesser blades. Made to be lightweight for maneuverability.
Seal of Felson - Traditional family seal of the Orcish "Felson" clan, a chief's family, worn around his neck.
Tusk of Orum - It is traditional for an orc to carry the tusk of his father if they died bravely in battle.

(BACKGROUND)
Orcs have been slowly integrating into the kingdom for decades now. However there are still large communities of nomadic clans that have cling to their freedom. Many thousands of individuals determined to fight off any who seek to destroy their wandering life style. Baerm had a close relationship with his father Orum. He was a skilled fighter and an even better blacksmith, a chieftain of a large grey skin clan deep within the felands.
But one dreadful night, a band of fire giants wandered into camp. Hundreds were slaughtered before the giants were killed, however one giant remained. A powerful eighteen foot tall beast of a fire giant named Nergun could not be stopped. Baerms father left to defend his wife and son from the giants onslaught. Baerm rushed out to help him, but he was too late. As he looked up in horror, Nergun grabbed his father Orum, breaking his back, tearing off his armor and blade, then swallowing him whole. In a fit of rage, Baerm grabbed his fathers broadsword, embracing the spirit infused within the blade. He battled the giant for hours, unable to kill him, chasing him far from his home.
When he returned, he discovered his mother too had been killed. As is Brutan tradition, he spent a week in solitude, mourning the loss of his family. When he came back, over half the community was dead. With his heart full of rage and hatred, Baerm swore an oath of vengeance against all giant folk. Determined to find the giant Nergun and become stronger so he can save others from their tyranny. He equipped his father armor and strapped the blade to his back. Embarking on a journey of ascension in the hopes of one day finding the giant that killed his family. Following the monster to the surface where he eventually lost it's trail.
Over time, Baerm slowly learned to master the magic of his blade. He found a mentor to teach him the language of both men and giants. His mentor was a human knight in the royal army. From him he learned to master the arts of combat. Specifically against giant folk and how to fight them. For ten years he trained, however his mentor was also slain in battle against a lone frost giant. It was the last straw that sent him on the path of being a professional bounty hunter and giant slayer. After all the pain he has gone through, Baerm hardly ever smiles any more. Stuck in a seemingly endless loop of rage, regret and depression.
