(TEMPERAMENT)
Ethuar is known for having the patience of a saint, the honor of a hero and the zeal of a priest. A paladin true of heart and willing to unleash his wrath upon any who would threaten the destined glory and prosperity of his people. Ethuar is a man of honor, he always upholds his promises and his love of truth is without equal. The quickest way to gaining his friendship and respect being brutal honesty. A trait that he finds extremely rare in the current day. As a king, he seeks only the trust and loyalty of those who had chosen him as their leader. While not cruel or wicked in any way, he is strong of will and stout of heart. Never backing down from a challenge. Because of this he is determined to reclaim the ancient homeland of his ancestors and strengthen the power and influence of the drugar race that has long since weakened.
(KNOWN MAGIC)
Deepeye (Dark Vision) - While very few drugar ever actually spend the time to train and master their own innate racial ability. Ethuar has this ability enhanced by the power of the Kaisers Crown. Allowing him to see through invisibility and illusion spells with some focus and concentration.
Kaiser's Hammer - One of the seven primal relics of the drugar. An ancient spiked war hammer, forged by the 1st grand kaiser 7290 years ago during the age of ascendance, soon after the five dwarven clans walked beneath the light of the sun. Infused with the burning energy of the heart of the world, one of seven hearth flames taken with them to the surface. The hammer itself made of elementum with polished mithril runic embroidery all along the handle. The spikes on both ends of the meter long shaft made of silvered steel. Like all of the seven primal relics, this hammer is nigh indestructible. Only the flames of the worlds heart which made it can destroy it. Eternally sharp, polished and never dulled or rusting or bent or broken. With a single elegantly carved amethyst locked within the midst of the mithril hammer head and elementum shaft. Radiating a faint purple glow, the stone itself perfectly smooth, its value without equal.
Kaiser's Crown - The first and oldest of the seven primal primal relics of the drugar. A gold plated mithril crown with the runic sigils of the five ascended drugar clans made of pure polished silver. The five runic sigils engraved beneath five perfectly smooth gemstones, each embeded into the crown and giving off a faint iridescent glow. A red ruby for the Blod of the Nabid Clan, a polished black onyx stone for the Svart of the Gusil Clan, a topaz for the Guld of the Kilrud Clan, a brown opal for the Brun of the Osol Clan, and a diamond for the Blan of the Thune Clan. Like all seven primal relics, this crown is nigh indestructible. Only the flames of the worlds heart which made it can destroy it. Eternally polished, never dulled or rusting or bent or broken. It's arcane power enhancing the power of his innate deepeye racial ability.

(BACKGROUND)
Ethuar was born in 546 (AC), as the son of Thadun, the previous Consoler and clan elder of the Osol Clan. His father was a hero to his clan and his people. Leading the dwarves in battle against the grey orcs besieging the city of Faerdur roughly a century ago. Eventually elected as clan elder due to his courage. Ethuar taking his place as consoler after his fathers death when he turned fifty.
As a child Ethuar became enamored with dwarven history and religion. At the age of twenty he was anointed as a member of the "Order of the Holy Flame". A deeply traditional sect of the dwarven faith. From his time as a priest of the holy flame, Ethuar learned of the deep mythology of his people. Of the burning spirit at the heart of the world who binds the mortal realm together. It wasn't until he turned fifty four that he retired from his priestly duties after his fathers death to the grey flu. A deadly disease that plagued the felands beneath his home.
Because of his fathers reputation and the traditional beliefs and heartfelt faith seen in Ethuars time in the order, he was elected by his clan as Consoler to take his fathers place. An unusual turn of events for the Consolship to pass from father to son, but not entirely unheard of. He took to his new role with passion, repairing Faerdurs crumbling outer defenses and clearing out goblin hives to gain access to the mines beneath them.
While Ethuar has always been a man of peace, he has proven himself a brilliant tactician and strategist. Groomed from a young age as a potential candidate for kingship. The election of a Grand Kaiser is a rare occurrence among the dwarves. But the prophecy of the 77th Kaiser lead the high council of elders to seek out the one who would lead them into a new era. Of the four consolers eligible to claim the position, it was Ethuar who was elected unanimously by the other three elders to take the crown.
Though he has yet to establish himself as a king worthy of his people, his will to retake their ancient homeland is unmatched. A sentiment that gained him favor among the commoners of the drugar dominion. It's been barely a month since he was crowned, yet already he has begun to organize the four clans into a crusading army. A force that he is sure will bring forth an age of glory for his people.
