A relatively young and untested technology, air travel has only existed for roughly thirty years. Thus rival factions throughout the land constantly compete to develop new, more advanced methods of constructing airships.
Aquian - High Elven sky ships are known for their many winged sails. The actual wood infused with a powerful air spirit that makes the ship itself buoyant in air. The winged sails equipped in such a way to carve through the air. Allowing much faster travel then other less advanced models. The larger the model the higher the altitude they can ascend to.
Dirigible - Human sky ships are much less advanced. Requiring massive balloons filled with lighter then air gas. Much harder to maneuver but with much thicker hulls and able to be built larger and carry more weight. Thus human warships are typically armed to the teeth with powerful cannons.
Faerduric - Dwarven sky ships are steam powered. Equipped with powerful engines with fan like propellers and fins used to maneuver. The helm operated through a mechanical forge, fueled by burning natural materials, such as wood and coal. Which then heats water held in storage for their steam propulsion. While not as fast as Aquian ships, their durability is unsurpassed.

A weapon used since the time of the 2nd high king of Overna, after the ascendance of the Mortal God. Without Parem'Zel and his absolute mastery of all the magic. The kingdom was vulnerable yet again. So the son of the Mortal God, Athius Zel, summoned all the alchemists of the realm to court. Entrusting them with the sacred task of developing a powerful weapon that would serve as both a deterrent for their enemies and a tool of judgement against traitors to the crown. Within a year every master of alchemy throughout the continent had used their time and effort to create a terrifying potion of unimaginable destruction. Known today as "Arcadian Fire". Also called the storm of the king, this shimmering gold liquid ignites the moment it makes contact with the air unleashing a blinding yellow fire. Thus it his handled with extreme care. Burning so hot it melts stone, metal and turns flesh and bone to ash in an instant. A single drop capable of burning down a small fortress, a vile to burn a village and a single barrel to turn an entire city to dust and ashes. A hundred barrels of Arcadian Flame have been kept locked away in the azure keep in Overna City ever since their creation. Under guard night and day. Used only once in the past six hundred years.
